Dimitris Daskalakis has performed extensively in the UK and abroad. He has performed at venues including Wigmore Hall, Fazioli Concert Hall (Italy), the Petit Palau de la Música Catalana (Spain), and Neidorff-Karpati Hall (USA). He appeared in the Athens Festival and his performances were broadcast on National Greek radio and in Europe.

Dimitris completed his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees at the Royal College of Music with Niel Immelman and Dmitri Alexeev, and at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City with Jeffrey Cohen. Dimitris first took piano lessons in Athens with Marios Strofalis and Dionyssis Mallouhos and was later awarded a scholarship to study with Andrew Ball at the Purcell School in London.

Dimitris has had masterclasses with Matti Raekallio, Jacques Rouvier, Arie Vardi among others, and also played for Maxim Vengerov.
